About Mrs. Anthony

I love science and all of the experiments we get to do in our chemistry classroom! I believe that science can be one of the most fun and exciting subjects to learn because it is observable and directly relatable to the world around us in so many ways. I am excited to be a part of the Falcon family at Torrey Pines High School!

A few things about me:

• I am a San Diego native
• I have a BA in Biochemistry and a minor in Spanish from the University of San Diego
• I worked in the biotech & pharmaceutical fields for several years before pursuing a career in education
• I worked in the SDPD Forensic Biology Crime Lab and love sharing my experiences with my students
• I love all sports, and played softball in college at USD
• My husband and I love coaching Special Olympic Softball - Go Poway Padres!
• I have completed the LA Marathon, 6 Half Marathons, 2 Triathlons and a Tough Mudder
• I enjoy art and creating things - my newest venture is sewing!
• My husband is a high school math teacher
