Made by students for students, the Bobcat News Network is our school's source for student-produced television journalism. The BNN broadcasts to campus every other week throughout the school year.
This course is designed to provide students with hands-on experience in the field of television broadcasting. Students in this course will produce a bi-weekly television broadcast for Carmel Valley Middle School. Through a combination of theoretical discussions, practical exercises, and real-world projects, students will learn the fundamentals of television production, including scriptwriting, camera operation, video editing, and on-camera journalism. Students will also explore the ethical and legal considerations in broadcasting. By the end of the course, students will have developed the necessary skills to produce their own professional-quality television programs.
Our class will use Google Classroom as our "base camp" for posting all assignments and materials you need to be successful in this class.
