Bio: After finishing my Philosophy BA at UC Santa Cruz and ditching my law school aspirations, I spent many years writing, producing and directing plays in Santa Cruz and San Francisco. One play I co-wrote, toured around the country (before finishing its run in San Diego). Another production was named Top Ten Play of the Year by the San Francisco Examiner and won Best Play at the San Francisco Fringe Festival. However, I was perhaps most proud of the children's theater I helped run, Northern Castle Theater. In addition, I completed a Masters in English with a focus in Playwrighting at San Francisco State University as well as their Teacher Credential Program. Now, I am proud and honored to help spark creative inspiration in my students. I have been working at CCA since its inception - check out the picture of me teaching in the portable classroom below.
