Who is Mrs. Grillot?

Mrs. Grillot (Gree-yoh) has over 21 years of experience teaching and working with students in San Francisco,  Chicago, Washington, DC, and San Diego.  She has credentials to teach English, Elementary Grades, Reading, and English Language Development.  

Mrs. Grillot graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola University Chicago with a Major in English and a Minor in Peace Studies.  Some awards she earned in college were an Honors Program four year, full-tuition scholarship and the Lincoln Medallion (1 award given to a graduating senior from each IL college by the state governor).  She worked for the school paper and had a publishing internship her senior year.

She received her teaching credential through a partnership with Northwestern University & the Inner-City Teaching Corps.  She has a Masters of Arts in Teaching with an emphasis in Reading from National University.

Mrs. Grillot is married and her children are 13 and 15. She likes yoga, kayaking, camping, reading, and photography. She has 2 dogs.
