This week, you will learn how to bring photos into Photoshop and then how to save the edited picture. You will also learn about many of the file formats that are available and common uses for these file formats.

Learning Outcomes

This week, students will import pictures into Photoshop and export them using different file formats. By the end of the week, students will be able to:

• Find their pictures on the computer and import them into Photoshop
• Define what a JPEG is and where it is commonly used
• Recall the difference between a PNG and a TIFF format
• Export a photo in multiple file formats to use in different scenarios
