About Dr. Thacker

Hello! My name is Samantha Thacker and I have been teaching since 2007. After teaching one year at a high school in the Los Angeles Unified School District, I taught for 8 years at Earl Warren Middle School (under my maiden name Samantha Greenstein). I was excited to be part of the experience of opening Pacific Trails Middle School in 2015!

It is my goal to create a learning environment that encourages students to explore questions that are important to them, to learn in a caring environment, and to collaborate with their classmates to establish a greater understanding of the world around them. I also hope to create an environment where technology can be embedded within the curriculum in order to emulate the world in which our students live.
