SDUHSD’s policy to offer an opportunity for 11th-grade students only was informed by feedback from students that they needed to limit the number of tests that are given and that such testing leads to increased stress and anxiety about academics, college, and their futures. Grade 9 and 10 students who would like to begin practice for the SAT may take available practice PSATs or SATs on their own time.
