T2E is a unique program currently offered only at SDSU for veteran students in undergraduate and graduate engineering programs. This program provides custom career assistance for students seeking to improve their professional development skills, find paid internships, and secure an engineering-specific job upon graduation from SDSU.
Registration- Upon acceptance into SDSU, participants will need to complete the Troops to Engineers Inquiry Form
Orientation- A one-on-one meeting with a T2E program coordinator is required to review program details and information. You will also be asked to complete the Troops to Engineers Program intake from and submit an updated resume
Emerging Engineer Identity Course- This course is dedicated to assisting students and veterans in navigating all possible resources available to them as they transfer to SDSU. The completion of this course is required for the student to remain eligible for program benefits.
Enroll in: ENGR 101 Course Specific to Student Veterans. Designed to give a detailed look into T2E program support system that will help engineering student veterans succeed in their academic journey, introduce them to a network of industry professionals, and assist in crafting their path to success in a civilian career. This course is offered to all Student Veterans interested in Engineering.
Yes. The Program is open to both undergraduate and graduate students who meet all other eligibility criteria.
Although T2E partners usually seek to utilize the distinctive skills and knowledge offered by Student Veterans, T2E is dedicated to assisting all military-affiliated students at SDSU. Nonetheless, certain services are exclusively available to Student Veterans.
