Signature San Diego MESA Alliance events:
STEM Shadow Day - MESA students shadow STEM professionals to experience the "real world" of work, see how classroom learning relates to the workplace, and be inspired about future careers.
Leadership Conference - Brings students from all participating MESA programs together for joint leadership training and networking opportunities.
The San Diego MESA Alliance relies on the support of industry partners on the Industry Advisory Board (IAB) to provide industry exposure and professional development opportunities for MESA students.
Examples of industry support include training academies, scholarships, job shadowing, internships, mentor-ship, company tours, workshops, event volunteers, speakers, donations of prizes, use of facilities, and/or guidance to MESA Directors on program development.
Industry partners contribute to the development of a pipeline of future engineers and scientists. Learn more about collaborating with MESA and help the San Diego MESA Alliance develop tomorrow’s leaders.
