The Mao group is a theoretical and computational chemistry group based in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at San Diego State University. We use physical models, computer programs, and data-driven approaches to tackle problems in chemistry ranging from elucidating and designing new catalysts to modeling and interpreting charge/energy transfer and photochemical processes in condensed-phase environments.
