Absences: When students return form an absence, please send your child to school with a dated note.
Dismissal: A note MUST accompany your child if there is any change to their dismissal procedure.
Early Dismissal: Please send your son or daughter to school with a dated note for all early dismissals.
Tardiness: Children must first “check-in” at the office to receive an admittance slip a school secretary prior to reporting to class.
Last Minute Dismissal Changes: Instead of emailing dismissal changes, please call the main office (215) 233-6085 regarding any last minute dismissal changes.
Due to food allergies in the building, feel free to send non-food items for birthday celebrations. However, snacks are still permitted. If you choose to send something to school, please send enough for 25 children. All treats must contain NO honey (due to an allergy). Thank you!
Children will need to wear sneakers every Thursday because of gym. If your son/daughter does not know how to tie his or her shoelaces, please provide time for your child to practice this skill at home.
Don’t hesitate to review your son or daughter’s school work! Have them tell you or teach you something they learned, describe an activity they participated in, or explain vocabulary discussed in math, through word wall words. Invite them to explain it to you! Allow them to serve as the expert on a topic! Give lots of specific praise and show sincere interest. If messages have been written on their work for correction, please attend to the assignment with your son/daughter.
We have snack time each morning during our morning break. Please send a snack that will help your son/daughter continue to perform their best before lunch. The students will benefit from this snack time; please try to send healthy snacks! When/if I am notified of any allergy concerns, I will inform you.
Parent(s)/Guardian(s), please remember to send your child to school with a snack EVERY DAY- even on half days and even if he or she is buying lunch! Snack is for everybody every day! Please do not send candy or gum. Also, the children have access to the classroom water fountain during this time.
Healthy Snack Every Day - Parent(s)/Guardian(s), please remember to send your son/daughter to school with a snack EVERY DAY- (half days too)! Please send healthy snacks (no candy, cookies, or liquid snacks please)! Due to allergies, kindly ensure that your child’s snack doesn’t include peanuts. However, students may bring any item for lunch.
