Mrs. Straffin's Website
Mrs. Straffin has been a Special Education Teacher at Enfield Elementary School since 2009. Prior to her teaching position at Enfield, Mrs. Straffin worked as an educator for many years in various school districts and as well as overseas. She is certified as an elementary teacher, special education teacher, guidance counselor and is a former Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She currently teaches in the K-2 Autistic/Learning Support classroom.
Mrs. Straffin has 3 sons and her husband who keep her very busy going to soccer games and soccer tournaments. She enjoys gardening, reading , biking, baking and world travel.
One of her favorite activities at school is working in the Enfield Elementary Butterfly garden with her students. She and her students grow flowers and plant them in the spring each year to do their part to preserve the Monarch Butterfly population in our area. They also raise butterflies to learn about them and then release them into the community each spring.
