Unit 2: Chemistry
OUR BOOK:
Chapter 2- The Chemical Foundation of Life
-------------------------------------------------
Monday 2/5
Unit 1 Test (teacher use only)
covered topics: Syllabus and Class Expectations, Safety Rules, Scientific Method, Equipment, Microscopes, Characteristics of Life
After Test:
Color the periodic table using this example (colored periodic table)
then on a separate sheet of paper look up each of the groups of elements you colored and write down a SHORT description of each type (example: Alkali Metals are excellent conductors of heat and electricity. They are very reactive and form ionic compounds easily)
Homework: Complete all 3 after test assignments and do the podcast
------------------------------------------------
Tuesday 2/6
