Michele Shade (she/her) is excited to join the Spartan team for her first year of serving the School District of Springfield Township as a School Counselor and her eleventh year in education. She began her career serving as a school counselor at both the high school and elementary school levels in Southern Maryland. Her work circulates around a child's sense of belonging toward their school community. Once a child knows their worth and has a voice in the classroom, the sky is the limit. She is a wife and mother of three. In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, playing and watching sports, and going to the beach.
