The South Milwaukee High School Rocket Marching Band and Color Guard has a long history of excellence in community performance.
Our focus is on teaching students excellence in combining marching and music skills to be able to perform effectively in every arena, from community parades to putting on an entertaining field show at the football games for the home crowd. Additional indoor performance opportunities may also be available for the Color Guard members.
The Color Guard adds the color and flare to the marching band performances, in addition to being able to do stand alone performances without the marching band. Typically this includes some winter guard rehearsals with a recruitment clinic and a basketball half-time performance. Other stand alone performances may be added.
