Each month we will have meetings that feature key agricultural topics. For certain topics, we will have expert guest speakers to share their knowledge with students. This exposes students to topics like bee keeping, dairy farming, and others.
Twice a year, students will have the opportunity to participate in a Field Trip. These field trips allow us to go to various businesses and experience what it takes to work in agriculture. Students get to explore hands on careers, while seeing what a day in the life of that business entails.
Every year in February, the nation celebrates FFA Week. During this week, students at the Middle School and High School will celebrate what it means to work in agriculture. They will also get the opportunity to show off some skills they have learned during the monthly meetings with the other students in the school.
Students learn various skills, play games, and celebrate the wonderful world of agriculture every year with the WMS Jr. FFA Chapter.
