When checking for a safe and reliable website to students, follow the information below:

  • make sure the 'https' security certificate is in the address bar

  • check out the websites 'about us' page

  • try out a few items yourself first (games or information)


Another recommendation is to choose websites that require the parent to sign up their child. Or, better still, websites that don’t require any signing in.

Remember, it doesn’t matter how old your children are, if they’re using the internet, then installing monitoring software that filters adult material is essential. Make sure you are monitoring your child/student's screen time. 

Set time limits and have your child take breaks!
