Hello. My name is Stacie Coleman, and I am thrilled to start my ninth year in education. I am also proud to be an NMS Tiger! I am a graduate of Newberry High School as well as Newberry College. I recently graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Master of Education in Educational Administration. I began my teaching career in the Fairfield County School District, teaching fifth grade. During my time there, I taught fifth grade and third grade. Four years ago, I decided to come back home and teach.
I am the mother of two amazing young adults. My son and daughter also graduated from Newberry County School District. My son is currently attending the University of South Carolina, and my daughter attends Georgia Southern University. I also have two fur babies that love their mama dearly, named Stella Grace and EJ.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, making memories, reading, and listening to live music. This year, I look forward to serving the students of NMS, building long-lasting relationships with learners, and positively impacting the lives of the students I encounter for years to come.
