About Me:

Hi! I'm excited to begin my 29th year of teaching at MCHS. I have lived in the Chapin/Little Mountain area my entire life, so it is truly special to teach and support students in the community that I call home.

I graduated from Chapin High School, earned my bachelor's degree in Special Education from Winthrop University, and later received my master's degree in Reading Instruction from Grand Canyon University. Over the years, I have enjoyed helping students build confidence, develop new skills, and reach their goals.

When I'm not at school, you can usually find me on my porch swing with a good book, exploring the outdoors on a camping trip, shopping, or relaxing with my family while watching a movie. I look forward to getting to know my students and their families and making this a great year together!
