In this sixth-grade course, students will develop into a diverse range of topics that will ignite their curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and provide a solid foundation in scientific concepts. From the tiniest molecules to the grandest geological phenomena, students will explore the intricacies of our natural world.
Welcome to 6th grade Science! I am Mrs. Cantrell and I am so excited to be your teacher this year. I have 3 years of experience as an assistant teacher, but this is my 2nd year teaching. My husband and I, are local to Newberry, where we live with our dog, Teal. I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends. I went to Lander University and completed my undergraduate degree In Psychology. I am currently attending Grand Canyon University to obtain a Masters degree In Education. Something interesting about me, is that I attended Newberry Middle and graduated from Newberry High. I look forward to getting to know each of you and to having an amazing year! GO TIGERS!!
