📢 Interested in Taking a Dual Enrollment Course at HACC, Millersville, or another partner school?
The McCaskey portion of the Dual Enrollment Application is officially OPEN for Spring 2027!
⏰ DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 1ST
If you do not complete and submit this portion of the application by the deadline, you will have to wait until next school year to be considered for a school-funded dual enrollment course.
🎓 Eligibility Requirements:
Minimum 2.5 GPA required (3.0 GPA preferred).
Students must research and select a course they are eligible to take.
🔎 Before You Apply, You Have Some Homework to Do!
Dual enrollment is a great opportunity to experience college life, and part of that experience is taking responsibility for researching and selecting your own courses.
To complete your application, you MUST know which course you want to take. This requires research on your part!
Here's Where to Start:
Google "HACC Spring 2027 Classes" or "Millersville Spring 2027 Classes."
Explore the college websites and available course offerings.
Find a course that interests you and that you are eligible to take.
Have your course information ready BEFORE starting the McCaskey application.
Notify your school counselor once you have completed and submitted the McCaskey portion of the application!
⚠️ DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE!
This process requires time, research, and planning on your end. College courses come with college-level responsibilities, and this is your first opportunity to practice those skills!
Remember:
📅 Deadline: NOVEMBER 1ST
📩 Notify your counselor once submitted!
School District of Lancaster is the only district in the county that covers the cost of students’ college courses. Students can take one college course per semester at no cost as long as they meet a few basic requirements and can still meet their general McCaskey graduation requirements.
