All food services are provided by SDUSD. Student's can once again go to any of the SDUSD listed schools to pick-up grab n go anytime between 12PM-2PM

Frequently Asked Questions

What do students need/should they expect when they return on-site?

  • All students should come to school with their mask. If they don't have one, one will be provided and must be worn properly at all times.

  • All students will need to have a wellness check conducted that includes a temperature check before being allowed to enter the campus each day. This will done either through Kinsa app at shown to staff, or staff will conduct on-site.

  • Wash hands, wear your mask, and keep distance will be followed and monitored at all times.

  • If students start showing any single symptom and it's not determined to be a pre-existing condition or have a fever during the school day they will immediately be sent to our isolation area and then sent home and the COVID-19 decision tree guide will be implemented.

Student's Chromebook is slow or not working when using Google Meet.

Here are some steps you can take to improve Google Meet quality and stability.

  • Close any other chrome browser tabs that may be open.

  • Change the layout view to Spotlight by going to the settings (3 vertical dots) on bottom of Google Meet screen and then change layout option to Spotlight.

  • Shut down or fully turn off the chromebook nightly.

How do I connect to my students Google Meet session and or Google Classroom?

Please check past direct messages or posts sent to you on ParentSquare. If you are unable to locate the information on ParentSquare please reach out to your student's teacher(s) and request them to send it to you again. You may also call the school office at 619-600-5321 and they can attempt to assist you or connect you with your student's teacher.

I never received an invite to ParentSquare. How do I get connected?

If you never received an invite to ParentSquare you may already be registered perhaps from another school or from previous use. If this is the case you just need to sign in using your old account info and your student at SDGVA will be linked. If you have never registered before we may not have your correct contact info at the school. Please contact our main office at 619-600-5321 to ensure we have a correct email and mobile number on file for you.
