Description: The proposed “Learn Poker” program would focus heavily on the math, logic, probability, strategic thinking, and emotional regulation aspects of the game. The goal is to create a supportive environment where students can build valuable cognitive and social skills through structured play—similar to how chess is currently used at the school.

Here are a few key points about the program:

• Target audience: Grades 5-8, open to beginners

• Curriculum focus: Probability, pattern recognition, strategic decision-making, and sportsmanship

• Structure: Weekly sessions with group instruction followed by practice rounds
