Developed in partnership with Oklahoma fine arts educators and UCO’s LX Studio, Art Tech PK-8 courses (visual art, drama, music and dance) were developed in 2021. Courses consist of 8 units, are standards-based and contain supply lists and other instructional resources. Assessments are included from 6-8 grade courses.
Note: The Art Tech curriculum was developed for novice students (no matter the grade level) and educators. Many schools lack access to fine arts courses and this curriculum aims to give all PK-12 students a basic understanding of an arts discipline.

Art Tech was a federally funded, five-year (October 1, 2020-September 30, 2025) grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Education to provide fine arts courses in schools with limited or no arts access. The goal is to increase the number of schools served every year to address the lack of fine arts education in districts across the state.
