About the College
About the College
St. Dominic's College, Kanjirapally, is a leading institution of higher education in Kerala, affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. It was started in 1965 under the Catholic management of St. Dominic’s Cathedral Church, Kanjirapally. The college was reaccredited by NAAC with A+ Grade in 2023 and ranks among the first 200 colleges in NIRF Rankings. It is a postgraduate educational institution with faculties in Arts, Science and Commerce. The College has a glorious history of six decades with academic excellence and co curricular achievements.
About the Department
About the Department
The Department of Mathematics, which was established in 1982 and upgraded with a postgraduate programme in 1995, actively contributes to the college's objective of absorbing and radiating knowledge and wisdom. The Department is supported by DST with FIST funds since 2018. During these four decades, the Department has organised various academic endeavors including international seminar, UGC sponsored National seminars and regional workshops. These academic programmes help the Department to disseminate mathematical knowledge to larger segments of society.
