The Financial Literacy Extension Program of the BS Accountancy department aims to eradicate poverty through financial literacy (SDG 1), provide quality education (SDG 4), promote decent work and economic growth (SDG 8), and foster partnerships for sustainable development (SDG 17). This program empowers individuals with the tools to make informed financial decisions, and strengthens the professional competencies of the students conducting the extension program. The program seeks to enhance economic stability and resilience, while building strong collaborations and sustainable impact on financial literacy in the community.
Objectives:
Combat poverty through impactful financial literacy programs.
Provide professional development for the volunteers and quality financial education for the beneficiaries.
