CAMPUS JOURNALISM

The Campus Journalism Extension Program of the BA Communication department focuses on providing quality education (SDG 4), promoting peace, justice, and strong institutions (SDG 16), and fostering partnerships for sustainable development (SDG 17). Through seminars, workshops, and invitation of experts in the field, the program empowers students and community members to practice responsible, ethical journalism. It aims to develop critical thinking, media literacy, and communication skills, while encouraging collaboration with local institutions and media organizations to strengthen community engagement and uphold press freedom. 

Objective:

1. Provide quality education in the field of campus journalism and media studies.

2. Promote peace and justice through providing awareness on ethical journalism and media practices.

3. Strengthen partnerships with relevant stakeholders for sustainability and impact of extension programs.
