RADIATING VOLUNTEERISM AND COMMUNITY COLLABORATION

The Radiating Volunteerism and Community Collaboration extension program of the BS Radiologic Technology department highlights the role of radiologic professionals in promoting good health and well-being (SDG 3), quality education (SDG 4), and sustainable communities (SDG 11). Through community extension and outreach initiatives, the program provides health-related activities, services and education, fostering partnerships for community development (SDG 17). The goal is to enhance healthcare access and knowledge, promoting public health and well-being.

Objectives:

1. Improve community health by providing quality health workshops, seminars and screenings.

2. Raise awareness on radiologic related health issues and practices.

3. Strengthen partnerships with relevant stakeholders for sustainability and impact of extension programs.
