The ArtReach Extension Program of the Bachelor in Multimedia Arts Department aims to promote well-being (SDG 3), provide quality education (SDG 4), and foster partnerships (SDG 17) through the power of art. The program engages students and communities in creative projects to provide artistic education, and self-expression, promoting mental health. By collaborating with local organizations and artists, ArtReach empowers individuals to use art as a tool for healing, learning, and building sustainable connections within communities.
Objectives:
Promote mental health and well-being through self-expression and creativity using art as a medium.
Provide artistic education and skill-building through impactful and hands-on workshops.
Strengthen partnerships with relevant stakeholders for sustainability and impact of extension programs.
The KwentoFest: Sining, Saya at Sorpresa was held on November 13, 2025, bringing joy and creativity to the children of Brgy. Alapan 1B, Imus, Cavite. The event was filled with storytelling sessions, art activities, and fun surprises that encouraged imagination and self-expression among the young participants.
Volunteers from the Bachelor of Multimedia Arts shared their talents through engaging visual art workshops and interactive storytelling, capturing the children’s interest and inspiring their artistic side. The atmosphere was lively and colorful, filled with laughter, learning, and creativity.
By the end of the day, KwentoFest successfully nurtured a sense of wonder and appreciation for the arts among the kids proving that learning can truly be fun when combined with sining, saya, and sorpresa.
On November 12, 2025, the spirit of creativity and hope shone brightly in Brgy. Alapan 1B during the event “Hiraya: May Your Dreams Come True.” The day was filled with smiles and imagination as the children participated in fun and engaging art activities guided by the talented volunteers from the Bachelor of Multimedia Arts program.
Through storytelling, drawing, and hands-on workshops, the kids were encouraged to dream big and express their aspirations in colorful and creative ways. The volunteers inspired them to believe that their “hiraya” — their deepest dreams and hopes — can become reality through hard work and faith. The event not only nurtured artistic expression but also strengthened the bond between the youth and the community, reminding everyone that every great dream begins with a small spark of imagination.
On January 31, 2025 (Day 2), the Artreach Program brought joy and creativity to the community of Brgy. Bayanan, Bacoor City, Cavite. The event gathered children and their parents for a day filled with art, learning, and bonding. Guided by the talented volunteers from the Bachelor of Multimedia Arts program, participants explored their imagination through drawing, painting, and interactive art workshops.
The program aimed to nurture artistic talents while strengthening family relationships and promoting creativity as a tool for expression and connection. The smiles and colorful artworks created that day reflected the true spirit of the event that art can reach hearts, unite families, and inspire dreams within the community.
On January 30, 2025 (Day 1), Brgy. Bayanan in Bacoor City, Cavite came alive with colors, laughter, and creativity during the Artreach Program. This community outreach aimed to inspire artistic expression and strengthen family bonds through art. Children, together with their parents, engaged in interactive art activities such as painting, crafting, and storytelling, all guided by the passionate volunteers from the Bachelor of Multimedia Arts program.
The event not only encouraged creativity but also created meaningful moments of connection between families. The volunteers shared their artistic knowledge while reminding everyone that art is for all a universal language that brings joy, unity, and understanding. The Artreach Program truly painted a day of happiness, imagination, and togetherness in the hearts of the community.
