Maker-spaces provide creative space to explore questions and problems. "Making" is defined as building or adapting objects using real tools and real materials and engaging learners in the process of using these tools and materials. "Tinkering", the unstructured process of testing ideas that come to mind, is integral to the Maker Movement. When children are tinkering and playing, they are engaging with a blend of objects, concepts, ideas, environments, and people.
