Will be installed in every classroom. Students will use hand sanitizer every time they move from one area to another.

At the July 14th School Board meeting, the School Board of Springdale Public Schools approved a temporary policy to require face coverings for staff and students when social distancing is not possible. Read more here.

Having warm water in every building in the school district is important! We are installing hot water heaters in 7 of our schools: Walker, Westwood, Parson Hills, Elmdale, Jones, Lee, Smith, Southwest, Central, and Springdale High School.
This will mean that all District buildings have warm water available to students for hand washing.

Disinfecting Surfaces
Sanitation and cleanliness is a high priority in the Springdale School District. Classrooms, buses, restrooms, and frequently touched surfaces (door knobs...) will be cleaned continuously throughout the school day. We have continued to purchase disinfectant sprays to quickly sanitize rooms between usage.
