Scholarships for students attending NWTI next year:
due May 5
) - First generation, DACA or undocumented statusdue May 5
) - 2 full-tuition scholarships for any NTI Program for Latino studentsdue 2 weeks before CNA sessions

Since 2000, HWOA has awarded 392 scholarships worth $500 to $$5,000 to Hispanic students in Arkansas. The majority of the recipients have been the first in their families to attend an institution of higher education. HWOA's goal is to increase the number of Hispanic students that attend and graduate with higher education degrees. Please read these guidelines and requirements before filling out the application.
Eligibility: Latino students graduating from Arkansas high schools and attending or accepted to attend a technical training institution or a four-year or two-year college are eligible to apply. The student must be able to attend the Cinco de Mayo festival on May 5th, 2018 and the HWOA Conference on October 12, 2018. Both events are held at the Jones Center in Springdale.
Qualifications: Applicants must be graduates of a high school in Arkansas and at least one parent must be Hispanic.
