The orchestra program at DTSOI was established at the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year. The program has tripled in size since that time and was featured in an article in the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette (see article below). Our orchestra program currently includes:

Beginning Orchestra, Middle School Concert Orchestra, & High School Chamber Orchestra

We are the ONLY school in the Springdale School District to offer orchestra. Our school has state-of-the-art facilities including a 1200 seat performing arts center and a soon-to-be-installed Wenger Full Acoustical Shell. The orchestra director at DTSOI is Mr. Justin Hazard.
