Garden Club

Mrs. Green's After School Garden Club

As a parent volunteer for my own children's school, I became the leader of the garden club.  Sponsored by the PTO, I was provided with classes from U of I Extension, a budget to order chick incubators for placement in the Kindergarten classrooms, and supplies for the students to learn more about life cycles.  The students and I also planned and planted vegetables, and provided a sensory garden until the COVID shut down stopped many clubs.
