Hi friends! My name is Ms. Alyssa Parma and this is my third year here at Westchester Intermediate! I am so excited to get to know each and every one of my students and their wonderful families! This 2020-2021 school year will be my third year teaching! I graduated from Illinois State University in December 2017 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and endorsements in Social Sciences, Language Arts and English As a Second Language (ESL). I cannot wait to learn and grow with each of you!

I love listening to music and I always try to play music in the classroom! I am a Target and Dunkin Donuts girl at heart, you can always find me there on a weekend! I have a puppy named Cooper and I currently live in Lombard! I grew up with my family in Geneva where I attended school K-12!

In my classroom, students will respect myself, their classmates and themselves! I love to incorporate movement into all of my lessons, so you wont find these 5P kiddos sitting in their desks for long! When they are in their seats, at least they're fun! Our kiddos have flexible seating options! I will do my best to email weekly with updates, due dates and reminders.
