The purpose of Standards-Referenced Grading is to Improve student achievement by:
- Identifying exactly what students know and are able to do in each class
- Measuring and sharing student growth in a more detailed and specific way
- Accurately representing learning outcomes
A Proficiency Scale will be used to report growth for each of the standards.
