Wrestling at McCracken!

Two years ago, the McCracken Wrestling Club was started, and we had about 25 wrestlers through the course of last season! I am excited to have this program available again this year!


Who: The wrestling club is available to ALL 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.

When: 3:00-4:00 p.m. - The first practice will be on Wednesday, November 6th.

-Practices will be on Wednesdays through February.

Where: McCracken Multipurpose Room

Why Wrestle?

-No experience is needed.

-Anyone can do it!

-Develop mental strength, self-esteem, sportsmanship, work ethic, and leadership skills.

-Wrestling will help you develop strength, speed, agility, mental toughness, and can help you be better at other sports!

What?

We will focus on the fundamentals and basic technique used in wrestling.

-Safety is the primary concern, and students will not perform moves and techniques that are not appropriate for them. We will focus on proper technique so that students can safely learn the basics of the sport.

-No equipment is needed!
