Meet Dr. McCann

Hi!  My name is Kristen McCann, and I just completed my 10th year working in SD 73.5.  This year, I will be acting as the Meyer school psychologist, district early childhood lead, and district 504 lead.  Previously, I worked as the coordinator for school psychological services and as a school psychologist in Waukegan Public School District 60.  

I grew up in Arlington, TX, attended college at the University of Tulsa (Go Golden Hurricane!), and earned my Master's and Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University (Go Cowboys!).  I also completed an additional master's degree in Educational Leadership through Aurora University. 

I live in Skokie, IL, with my husband and ten-year-old daughter, who is attending Middleton as a fifth-grade student this year!

I love working with our students, teachers, parents, and staff to support the learning and social/emotional/behavioral growth of all students in a variety of ways.  I am always available and ready to partner with you to support your children, please feel free to reach out (kmccann@sd735.org).
