Meet Dr. McCann

Hi!  My name is Kristen McCann and I just completed my 9th year working in SD 73.5.  This year, I will be acting as Meyer school psychologist and early childhood facilitator.  Previously, I worked as the coordinator for school psychological services and as a school psychologist in Waukegan Public School District 60.  

I grew up in Arlington, TX, attended college at the University of Tulsa (Go Golden Hurricane!), and earned my Masters and Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University (Go Cowboys!).  I also completed an additional Masters degree in Educational Leadership through Aurora University. 

I live in Skokie, IL with my husband and nine-year-old daughter, who is attending Middleton as a fourth-grade student this year!

I love working with our students, teachers, parents, and staff to support the learning and social-emotional-behavioral growth of all students in a variety of ways.  I am always available and ready to partner with you to support your children, please feel free to reach out (kmccann@sd735.org).
