Welcome to kindergarten! My name is Susan Mpistolarides and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year!
Mrs. Mpistolarides
Mpistolarides Family
I have been teaching in District 73.5 for most of my career. For the past several years, I have taught the Sheltered English Language 1st grade class at Middleton School. I have a bachelors degree in elementary education, a masters degree in early childhood education and I am endorsed to teach English language learners.
I know my name may look intimitdating, but it is actually not hard to say. The "M" is a silent letter. The pronunciation is Pis-to-la-ree-dus. I also go by Mrs. M. too!
I live in Edison Park with my husband and our four children. I enjoy cooking, reading and spending time watching my children play sports. I also love traveling with my family when we have the chance. This past summer, we traveled to Tennessee and spent time in the Smoky Mountains. It was beautiful!
I look forward to an exciting year in kindergarten! We will learn, grow and have fun together each day. I am eager to partner with each family to give your child a positive school experience. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Seesaw is a great resource for communicating and seeing your child in action at school. Please make sure you activate your account.
Let's have a great year!!!
