Welcome!

Welcome to 8th grade social studies! I've been teaching in district 73.5 since 2021, and teaching overall since 2019. I am excited to continue to share the importance of Social Studies with the students in Skokie! This year we will be learning about world history. All of our units will help us answer our year long essential question, "Why is our world the way it is?"  In order to help answer these questions, we will starting at the beginning with the early humans, then learn about Ancient Civilizations, and end with the transition to the Modern Age.
