Policies and Expectations

STANDARDS REFERENCED REPORTING:

At the beginning of each unit, students are given a pre-test and then instruction is designed to meet the needs of the individual. A "Proficiency Scale" is completed for each student that will indicate their individual progress towards meeting a standard. Students will consult this chart regularly to update their progress. The Proficiency Scale will then be completed at the end of the unit to show the level of proficiency at the end of the academic term.

Student progress will be based on classwork, projects, quizzes, and tests.

All assignments are aligned to a grade level standard and are evaluated using the proficiency scale.

Please check Power School regularly to receive updates on your child's progress. Note that the descriptions of each assignment provide detail into which parts of the standard are being addressed.
