Number of the Day! You can print this off at home, or use it a guide to write on a blank paper. The purpose of this activity is to have children represent numbers in different ways. At school, we roll one or two dice to come up with our number. You can do the same, or just pick a number at random (up to 10). Then we circle all the examples of ways to represent that number. The second page (click the visible page and then click the arrow to open the document) is harder in that students have to come up with the examples themselves rather than just circling the answers.
