Last day of the We scare Hunger Food Drive! Please help Div. 2 in their efforts to support the Peninsula Lions Food Bank by donating any extra cans of food or toiletry items. cash donations are also appreciated. Thank you for any help!

Dear NSMS Families:
As we approach our Halloween celebrations, we encourage students and families to choose costumes that help create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone.
When selecting a costume, please consider the following:
Does my costume avoid stereotypes related to race, culture, religion, gender, or current/historical events? (Is my costume culturally appropriate?)
Could my costume be hurtful, disrespectful, or offensive to others?
Please also note that full-face masks are not permitted during the school day (except during the assembly parade), as we need to be able to identify students at all times. Costume accessories that resemble weapons are also not permitted.
Thank you for helping us make Halloween a fun, safe, and inclusive celebration for all.
