Parent and Family Peer Support
Foundry Victoria and Parent Supports are available to provide peer support to Victoria parents, and can meet with families by phone or in person. Families can connect with Chantal Brasset by email or phone (brasset@foundryvictoria.ca, 250-383-3552)
Family Smart and Parents in Residence (PiR) are available to provide peer support to all families living in BC and can meet with families by phone and video chat. Families can connect with The Victoria PiR Lisa Tate by email or phone (Lisa.Tate@FamilySmart.ca, 250-818-4810).

Parenting Without Power Struggles: topics include adolescent development, communication, self-care, boundaries, connection and understanding, values and perceptions, capacity building, and working towards independence
Parent Together: This online program helps parents of teens gain confidence, discover practical tips and resources, and find support from other parents.
Parents in the know: A virtual group support program that helps parents of teens (ages 13-18) explore ways to improve communication skills, resolve conflicts, and build positive relationships.
In the Know Video Library - consisting of expert speakers on topics important to families and/or those working to support the mental health of children and youth.
Confident Parents, Thriving Kids helps parents and caregivers develop skills and strategies to support their child to manage anxiety or behaviour challenges, through a series of online videos (for anxiety) or workbooks (for behaviour) and activities, supported by coaching sessions by phone
BounceBack provides access to materials and resources that can all be customized to fit your needs. You will have access to workbooks, activities, videos, or a trained coach who can provide up to 6 phone sessions.
Children and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) offers a number of workshops such as Anxiety Education Workshops, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Full-Day Workshop for Parents , Child Parent Relationship Training (CPRT) , and Connect Parent Groups
