Welcome, I am Ayala Johnson

I am a teacher at Royal Oak Middle School in Saanich, BC. My pronouns are she/her. I am thankful to live in Victoria, on the traditional territories of the Esquimalt People and the Songhees People, and to work in Saanich, on the traditional territories of the W̱SÁNEĆ People. On my web pages you will find classroom information for my students and their parents.

I have been a teacher since 2003. I have taught in East Vancouver, West Vancouver, the Comox Valley, and Saanich! I grew up in Metchosin, but now live in Fairfield, in Victoria with my husband and two children!

I am passionate about connecting ecological understandings, both social and environmental.
