Misc:   Please return signed Term 1 envelopes asap

*Math: Reviewed percent of a number and tax.  Learned how to calculate discounts on prices and find total price.   Homework:   MMS Page 55 #1-6 due Monday

*English:  Worked on part 3 and wrote 10 descriptive sentences to show intentional use of word choice to create a vivid picture in reader's mind. Assignment instructionsd available on Google classroom.  HOMEWORK:  Part 3 10 Descriptive sentences due Monday.

*Socials:  Artifacts booklet project in progress-last class.  Criteria in Pelsh text and on Google classroom.  HOMEWORK:  Artifacts booklet due Monday along with bringing in two artifacts for oral presentations.

Science:  With Ms. Wiens on Wednesdays. We started looking at Physical and Chemical Properties and the students delved deeper into physical properties such as Lustre, and Conductivity. Some students took notes.

*French:  numbers practice quiz for next week  HOMEWORK: Review vocabulary regularly, in particiular numbers 1-100, alphabet and basic greeting for upcoming quiz next week

Careers:  With Ms. Wiens on Wednesdays. We got around 11 students activated on MyBlueprint! Please get your grown-up to sign off on the online consent so that we can begin using the site next Wednesday. :) Please do not begin doing surveys on the site yet, we will be following through activities together as a class. We also worked on creating an Academic and a Personal SMART goal. Student are practicing creating specific SMART goals.

*Fine Arts (Art):  Drama game:  Graveyard.  Maintain body and face control while graveyard keeper(s) try to make you move or laughNOTE:  Some students attend Band during this block.  HOMEWORK:  Title page and elements page should be done

*ADST:   Woodwork with Ms. Schewczyk  

PE/Health:   Minor games and football on the turf.   Have appropriate footwear and attire for PE on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays--dress for the weather!

*Flex:  Went over class social contract and reviewed expectations and behaviour.
