About

Visit us in the Learning Commons in person during school hours to study, join clubs, read, print, eat lunch, meet up with friends, and more!

Check out books and other resources, including chromebooks, seeds (yes, that's right, we now have a Seed Library), calculators and board games.

Come with a note from your teacher if it is during class hours. No note needed for printing!

Background

Born and raised in Whitehorse, Yukon, my sense of curiosity and appetite for adventure was cultivated early in life. I am passionate about connecting learning with community and inspiring youth to connect their personal identity and passions to larger scale societal dynamics.

I thrive teaching students about digital and global citizenship, how to critically evaluate information found online, and creatively using technology to enhance learning. I enjoy the critical thinking and creative spillover that results from cross-curricular collaborations with educators and students alike.

I adore being the teacher librarian at EMCS and feel lucky to be a part of the EMCS learning community. I'm always keen to connect and collaborate on projects: please feel free to contact me anytime.
