This project was generously funded by Sooke School District 62 through the annual Professional Learning Inquiry Grant program during the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 school years. This program is designed to empower SD 62 staff to undertake action research to develop their passions and skills.

I would like to continue the important work of connecting students with reading for pleasure through any format that speaks to them. I will continue to advocate for reading of any kind to be considered reading and will also be working with French Immersion teachers more closely to identify and remove barriers to student interest in French language audiobooks.
