The Skilled Trades BC Youth WORK in Trades program allows students to start their apprenticeship while they are still in high school.
Youth Work in Trades (YWIT) is an educational program jointly supported by the Ministry of Education and the Skilled Trades BC. The main goal of YWIT is to connect students to paid apprenticeship work under the supervision of a certified trades person.
Student requirements:
19 years or younger
Working in an apprenticeable trade
