Hello Physics 11!

I hope you are doing well. Thank you for your patience while I put together some online learning opportunities.

Please read through the Guiding Principles to see the priorities and routines our class will be following.

What you need to know:

- Your mark from last term will not go down. You can increase your mark by completing new material (and in some cases assignments from last term - see email)

- New material will be posted on the class website every few weekdays (lessons, practice questions, assignment via Google Forms). Please check the website daily.

- I will be hosting (optional) class meetings to connect and answer questions. The first meeting will be Monday April 20th, at 1:00pm using Google Meet. This is an optional event, and if you choose to participate, showing your video and audio are not required. A link will be sent out to student email Monday morning.

- There will be no formal tests and no exam

- You can email me any time to request a phone, email, or video reply or chat to help with your work

I hope to see you on Monday. Please let me know if you prefer to be in contact another way or at another time.

I hope that you are doing well in this uncertain time. We are all facing challenges and I recognize that each student and family has a different situation.

In the next few weeks, learning opportunities will be posted here with paper-based versions will be available for those without access to technology and those who prefer delivery that way. This will not replicate the in-class experience, but will seek to teach material essential to moving on in physics. If there are any challenges in regards to your ability to work from home, please let me know. It is an unusual way to learn (and teach) for many of us and we will be adapting together.

For up to date information on official goals and plans please see the district website and school website. Feel free to contact the school administration, myself, other teachers, and counsellors with questions, concerns, and for support. Email addresses are listed on the school website's "STAFF" tab.
